Hello, everyone. I have previously written many pieces about Yangzhou, a city in China. When-ever someone mentions Yangzhou, the immediate association is Yangzhou cuisines. Yangzhou morning tea is one of them. It has an eclectic selection of small dishes, such as crab dumpling (steamed dumplings filled with minced crab and gravy), vegetable siu mai and Yangzhou spe-cialties, like meatball covered with crab powder, Yangzhou fried rice, which are not only popular in China, but also overseas.

On September 8 2017, France's Orléans Mayor Olivier Carré visited Yangzhou and gave a keynote address at the World Canal City Forum. The topic of the keynote address was about the greening of Orléans, the ideals for sustainability and its implementation. I was fortunate to have an opportunity to attend the Forum and could hear Orléans’ story personally.
